Getting Old

For me, wrinkles and white hair are not signs of the old age. They are just basic tear and wear and anything in between.

Ultimately, being old means being unenthusiastic about life, not curious what the world holds for you and inability to find beauty in small things. Being old means being cynical, uninspired and yes I have seen it all. Being old means judging people and expecting the worst of them, being cocky and defensive.

This can happen in any age. Being old means not believing in life anymore.

  1. This is so true. We should try hard not to have an ‘old’ frame of mind but instead embrace what ideally should come in the later years: contentment and a peace that comes with the satisfaction of having lived a worthy life.
